Valerie Woodward of Clifton Park, a retired Geologist and self-taught
water-colorist will be exhibiting for the month of June at the Clifton Park
Senior Community Center. Not being one to follow the set "rules" of watercolor
painting, she approaches each painting with a separate perspective. Valerie
does some "quirky cartoon collage" paintings in pen and watercolor to balance
her more serious works. She says "Life is time made up of layers of seeing and
feeling and a painting represents only a sliver. View some of her work on-line
