As an artist I am drawn to experimentation and process. Printmaking, both on paper and fabric allow me to work with intuition and spontaneity, As a teacher I encourage my students to embrace this same freedom to explore. Having studied Design, leaning towards fiber arts, I later became fascinated with printmaking. My current work mixes medias that include printmaking, surface design, collage and photography. I am owner of Ragged Edge Printmaking Studio in Cohoes, and a member of the Oakroom Artists. I have shown my work regionally, and have taught at many venues including Snow Farm; The New England Craft Program, Saratoga Arts, Athens Cultural Center, The Arts Center of the Capital District.
