Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have not had any meetings or demos in 2020. The SSAS Board of Directors recently made a decision to carryover all dues to 2021. If you already paid your 2020 dues, you will not owe anything for 2021.
A survey was emailed to each member. Please take 2 minutes to fill it out to help the Board better understand our members desires.
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TK839R7 Our sincere sympathy and caring is sent to Jack Morgan for the loss of his precious wife. SSAS is lucky to have his talents associated with us and we are here for anything he needs!
So very sorry Jack. Dear SSAS Members,
We hope you are all healthy and staying safe. As previously informed, our monthly meetings and board meetings have been temporarily cancelled. We will send out a mailing as soon as restraints are lifted and the state deems it safe to resume normal activities. Having goals for future events and activities, keeps us centered and perhaps better focused during these trying times. The Board has some exciting things planned for when we become active again. It has been noted that those of us who have hobbies in art, music, etc. have the ability to psychologically fare a little better during these trying times. We are all creative beings and being an artist at any level can be so inspirational. We all know that when we are focusing on our favorite media, drawings, craft or art books and studies, we are easily lost and find ourselves in another place where time speeds by and we feel refreshed and renewed. Let’s take out our brushes, paints, pencils, charcoals and see what happens. A good time to refocus and do the things we love that we never seem to have time to do! Please free to call anyone on the Board for questions, ideas for future events, or just to chat about art. Praying that we all stay strong, healthy and creative during these difficult times.
