Award winning artist Karen Woodin is exhibiting in a one woman show entitled "Moment in Time & Place Collection" during Jan/Feb., 2022 at the Clifton Park Senior Community Center.  As an educator, Karen regularly provides on-line or in person workshops and demonstrations for the Capital Region.  Her works often capture a sense of place and moment in time through the effective communication of color, texture and composition with a delicate handling of details and water reflection.

Holiday Luncheon
Fellow members,  Because of the current spike in Covid in our area, the Board of Directors of SSAS is asking everyone's cooperation in helping us to have a safe, Covid free luncheon on December 11th.  The Vista Restaurant has taken all precautions and all staff members are vaccinated.  Looking forward to seeing everyone at the luncheon.   Remember that the deadline for reservations is Monday, November 22 either by mail: SSAS, P.O. Box 2536, Clifton Park, NY 12065 or you can bring your check/reservations to the meeting at the Clifton Park Senior Community Center at 6:30 p.m. also on Nov. 22, 2021.   Below are the guidelines, let's help each other be safe, sincerely Pat Wade

Covid Precautions
 
Due to the unpredictable nature of our current health crisis, we are requiring all luncheon attendees to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid PCR test.


Those individuals unable to be fully vaccinated must have proof of a negative Covid PCR test (taken within 72 hours of the luncheon). We will check for proof of vaccination and negative Covid PCR tests at the door as a condition of entry. See below for acceptable documents.
 
Additionally, for individuals who are not vaccinated, masking is required except while actively eating or drinking. Please note that all Vista employees are fully vaccinated. 


If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend.

CLIFTON PARK TOWN SENIOR COMMUNITY CENTER

For he months of  Nov./Dec., in the Gallery of the Clifton Park Senior Community Center, 6 Clifton Common Blvd, Tel.#:  518-383-1343, artists and members of SSAS will be exhibiting in a Themed Show,  "Nature".
CLIFTON PARK TOWN HALL
 During October, Carol Winterton will exhibit in the lobby of the Town of Clifton Park, 1 Town Hall Plaza, Tel. # 518-371-6651.  Carol has been painting for over 30 yrs., but when her husband passed away, she found painting filled a void and provided comfort.  She paints in watercolors, oil and acrylics.

PATRICIA WADE AND REBECCA JENKINS AT THE CLIFTON PARK SENIOR COMMUNITY CENTER

Two life-long area artists will be featured during September in the Gallery of the Clifton Park Senior Community Center, 6 Clifton Common Blvd, Tel.# 518-383-1343.   Rebecca Jenkins has an A.A.S. in Photography from Sage College and photographs numerous interesting sights throughout the area and while traveling. 

Patricia Wade is currently a watercolorist and paints an eclectic variety of items.  She has sketched and painted most of her life, enjoying using different mediums.
