Mechanicville Library SSAS shows (up to 18 works, approx..24”X24”)
The library is open to the public 11am to 8pm. You can view the gallery anytime you want. Artist should visit the venue to ascertain how many works they can hang.
Labels on work: Tape label to work with: title, medium, Price, Your name & contact info
Receptions: Allowed: talk to Michelle to set it up.
News Ads: send short ad to Pat Wade (2 weeks before show) so she can advertise the show in the local papers
Artists to show: It is the coordinator’s job to seek SSAS artists to show at the library through e-mails and SSAS meetings.
Set up and take down dates: To be determined by the coordinator, e-mailed to each artists.
Artist’s Responsibilities:
Be aware of set up and take down dates and times
Label all works: Title, Artist, Medium, Price, Contact info
Be a current SSAS member
No nudes nor political statements
Send a three sentence statement to Faith and Pat Wade for the local paper ads.

Installation and take down: The following ladies direct the installation and take down and will give you those dates and times when you contact them before your showing.

Artist Reception: They will provide a reception for you and give you a Sunday date when they want you to speak to the guests about you and your work.

Note: If you are interested in one of the larger venues, but want to be part of a group, you do not have to organize the group, just let the venue coordinator know how many pieces of artwork you would like to display. They will assign you to a group of other artists.
