Hello, I'm Bill. I like to paint. My studio is in my house, which means anyplace I can find room to set up. Which also means my wife is always mad at me for having my art stuff all over the place. "We can't have anything nice!" To which I reply, "Someday you'll be sorry you nagged me when my art is in the Louvre." Of course, if I ever DID have something in the Louvre and they wanted an artist's statement, I suppose I'd say something like, "To my wife, who believed in me when no one else did."
Anyway, I have many influences -the Hudson River School, Impressionism, the Ashcan School, Social Realism, Dutch genre painting. You can see this in my paintings. So enjoy.
