MARIA TSAI
Maria Tsai is a local artist from Clifton Park. Her paintings are well received in various galleries in the Albany area and widely praised for her grasp of picture composition and her particular delivering of lighting to the subjects.
Maria grew up in a family with artistic tradition. Her father was an accomplished photographer in Shanghai. However, her artistic talent was re-discovered recently at a sip-and-paint session about three years ago. It was meant to be a ladies’ night out. As she picked up her brush, she knew she found something about herself. She was absent of her friends conversation that night, completely immersed in the joy of painting.
In addition to painting, Maria enjoys cooking and interior design.
