In these days of cell phones it's easy to forget that a great photograph can bring a smile every day you see it in your home. I have been making images for nearly sixty years.  Perched on a step stool, I first watched images appear like magic in my father’s darkroom.  Soon I was making my own prints from a well-loved Kodak Brownie.  After a nearly 40-year detour in public service and raising a family, I returned to my early passion in earnest.  I work in locations that range from my own -- or your --  garden, to the urban landscape, to the African Plains.  I show my work regionally as well as on-line at pbeckerphoto.com.  I also do lifestyle and family / pet photography. My favorite assignments are to preserve priceless memories for families and loved ones, including pets and children.  I absolutely love capturing Grands and their families before the years speed away.   I do special commissions including framing and installation in concert with a local art gallery.  You may see my work locally in magazines and offices.  I'd love to hear from SSAS members at [email protected] or 518-423-6917 if there is something special I can help out with.
